Sika Antisol E-40 is a water-based curing compound for concrete and mortar. Sprayed in a thin layer on the surface of fresh concrete, Sika® Antisol® E-40 forms a waterproof film that prevents water evaporation and protects the concrete from drying out, thereby preventing plastic shrinkage cracking. Sika® Antisol® E-40 prevents premature drying of the concrete, allowing the structure to develop better mechanical strengths, reduce surface accessible porosity, and increase durability.

Usage

Sika® Antisol® E-40 is particularly suitable for any concrete surface exposed to drying: roads, highways, airport runways or aprons, bridges, slabs, floors, screeds, as well as any prefabricated element (beams, slabs, precast elements, etc.). Sika® Antisol® E-40, which does not contain petroleum solvents, is especially suitable for:
indoor applications,
Sika® ViscoChape® and Sika® Levelchape HCS self-leveling cement screeds.
